PrimeColor Software was founded in August, 1998 by three scholars of
Department
of Chemistry, North
Carolina State University. Their primary interest was to develop user-friendly
software and books
that will facilitate research and education in chemistry. Now PrimeColor Software is a
resource
providing freeware and open sources of real time analysis tools for solid state chemistry, solid state
physics and materials sciences developed by them in NCSU.
The currently available program packages are CAESAR 1.0, CAESAR 2.0, which are tools of analyzing the crystal structure
and the electronic structure of solid materials, and SAMOA 1.0, which is the educational software,
helping understand the electronic structure and the molecular orbitals of chemicals. Other programs for
studying spin and magnetism are also available.
All program packages provided here are absolutely free of charge for
the educational and scientific research community. No any license or registration are required.
